Presenter: Maureen McMahon, MD, Associate Chief, Rheumatology and Arthritis, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, Division on Rheumatology, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define the latest classification criteria for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and discuss how these criteria can be used in clinical practice.
  • Describe the most common comorbidities associated with Lupus, as well as risk factors for disease progression.
  • Describe current treatment paradigms for lupus and lupus nephritis.
