Gaining evidence-based knowledge of the labor/birth process is not only comforting, but empowers you to have the best birth experience possible.
This three-session class will prepare you for the birth of your baby by exploring the stages of labor/birth, labor coping techniques, relaxation skills, and medical interventions such as induction of labor, epidurals, and cesarean birth.
Time is spent on discussion, videos and practicing labor coping techniques.
This class is designed for the mother-to-be and one class partner of her choice. Class attendance is recommended anytime during the third trimester.
We meet three consecutive Mondays. Class sessions are:
- Monday, March 3
- Monday, March 10
- Monday, March 17
All classes run from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sarah worked as a labor/delivery RN for five years. She is a certified childbirth educator through PCE, and started teaching in October 2017.
