Knowing your health risks is key to preventing future health problems. The lab at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Towanda Campus is offering a community health screening event that can help you know your risk for several conditions.

Available Screenings
Multiphasic Screening: $42
A blood test that can detect current or potential health problems, such as coronary heart disease, anemia, diabetes, liver disease and kidney disease. This test requires a 12-hour fast, with only water or black coffee before testing.

TSH (Thyroid Screening): $25
TSH screens for hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. The test is appropriate for men and women, but is especially recommended for middle-aged women.

PSA (Prostate Screening): $25
Prostate Specific Antigen blood levels are elevated in men with prostate diseases such as prostatitis (inflammation) and prostate cancer.

Glycohemoglobin A1C: $15
A1C is a form of hemoglobin that is measured in diabetes testing.

Lipid (included in Multiphasic): $20
This test is included with the Multiphasic Screening but can be performed separately. It tests for abnormalities in lipids, such as cholesterol and triglycerides.
