April 10, 2025

Local women/families navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis will receive vital support thanks to a generous $10,000 donation to Guthrie from Women in Pink (WINK). This contribution is dedicated to assisting patients receiving treatment through Guthrie's comprehensive oncology services.

WINK, initially founded to support breast cancer causes, has expanded its mission to assist any woman/family battling cancer — providing vital resources and financial assistance to alleviate stress during their treatment journey. As part of the Josh Palmer Fund, WINK continues its dedication to offering hope and support to local women/families facing challenging diagnoses.

"We are profoundly grateful to WINK and the Josh Palmer Fund for their incredible generosity and partnership in caring for our community," said Tricia Huston, Director of Resource Development at Guthrie. "This donation directly impacts the lives of women facing cancer, helping to ease financial burdens and provide essential support resources during a difficult time. WINK's commitment truly makes a difference for our patients.”

“WINK is extremely grateful for the community support we receive that allows us to make donations to organizations that can assist women with cancer to address their financial stressors,” said Jessica Mcinnis Norman, Women in Pink Treasurer.
This generous donation from WINK will help ensure that women/families in our region have access to the comprehensive care and support services they need throughout their cancer journey.
