Harvest of Gold Gathers Life-Saving Dollars for Guthrie Cortland Medical Center
Cortland Memorial Foundation (CMF) hosted an evening of fun and recognition in support of Guthrie Cortland Medical Center (GCMC). Held at the Lynne Parks ’68 SUNY Cortland Alumni House, stars aligned for the annual CMF Harvest of Gold, with close to $55,000 raised for programs and services at the hospital
“This community really pulls through for us, and your gifts are truly making a difference at Guthrie Cortland,” said Jen Yartym, Guthrie Cortland Medical Center President. “Your support helps us improve facilities, expand services and programs, and purchase equipment that is lifesaving for our patients.”
The Harvest of Gold also serves as a celebration of those who have given back to Guthrie Cortland and the community. This year, the McNeil family was honored for their ongoing support of Guthrie and the community at large.
“The contributions the McNeil family and their businesses have made to the Cortland Memorial Foundation, Guthrie Cortland Medical Center and the Renzi Cancer Center have supported so many of our initiatives,” said Sheila Ossit, Cortland Memorial Foundation Director. “Because of the McNeil family’s belief in helping others and sharing with their neighbors, our patients have been able to receive high quality care, right here in our community, close to home”.
Thank you to the McNeil family, the Cortland community, everyone who attended the Harvest of Gold and our event sponsors. Gold Sponsors were CFCU Community Credit Union, McNeil and Company and McNeil Development. Silver Sponsors were Contento’s and Tompkins Cortland Community College Foundation.
