U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals is a trusted ranking that recognizes excellence in multiple areas of care. As referring physicians, you have the ability to impact these rankings by participating in the annual “Expert Opinion” physician survey.  

Just a few minutes of your time will help get Guthrie on the map! 

To vote, you must be a board-certified physician and work in the one of the specialties below: 

  • Cancer and cancer-related specialties 

  • Cardiology & Heart Surgery 

  • Diabetes & Endocrinology 

  • Gastroenterology & GI Surgery 

  • Geriatrics 

  • Neurology & Neurosurgery 

  • Obstetrics & Gynecology 

  • Ophthalmology 

  • Orthopedics 

  • Otolaryngology 

  • Pediatric Gastroenterology & GI Surgery 

  • Psychiatry 

  • Pulmonology & Lung Surgery 

  • Rehabilitation

Because the survey is conducted exclusively through Doximity, you also must have an account on that platform.  

Completing Your Physician Profile in Doximity: 

  1. Visit Doximity.com. 

  1. Search for your name in the search bar. 

  1. Claim/verify your profile. 

Then watch for an email from Doximity about the survey and follow these steps: 

  1. Log in 

  1. Ensure your certifications and board documents are up to date 

  1. Click the U.S. News nomination icon or search for “U.S. News Best Hospitals” 

  1. Select the appropriate facilities 

  1. Submit 

You may list up to five hospitals in your field. The order in which you list hospitals does not matter, and you may list as few as one hospital.  

Each vote is vital, as the total number of votes collected helps to calculate a hospital’s reputation score, which contributes to its overall ranking on the Best Hospitals list. If you are eligible to vote, please do. And you aren’t, please encourage your colleagues who are.
