Chief Residents
Peter Romoff, DO
I was born and raised in Rye, N.Y. My father is an OBGYN at Lenox Hill Hospital and my passion for medicine comes from him. Although the path to my career was long and at times wavering, I remained determined thanks to the love and support of my family. Originally I had pursued an IM residency, however with the birth of my first child, I had developed a passion for Family Medicine. I am very happy with my time and training here, and I am excited where I will be going to next. I hope that I have become a physician that everyone is proud of, and I will do my best to continue learning throughout my career.
Bridgette Callaham, MD
I was born in Richmond, Va., but raised in Jersey City, N.J. I have always had a passion for helping people and medicine was the most effective way for me to do that. There were times when I was unsure, but after my daughter was diagnosed with Hirschsprung disease and had to undergo two surgeries, I was redirected back to medicine. However, it was a tough journey to get here being a single mom and attending medical school in the Caribbean. This long, tough journey has finally began to assure me that it was worth it. Although, I would be considered a non-traditional student, I have no regrets and am super proud of my accomplishments. I believe that my family, especially my daughter is proud of me, which makes everything worth it. I am beyond thrilled to begin my career as an outpatient family medicine physician where it all started, Richmond, Va. within the Bon Secours Hospital System (affiliated with St. Mary's Hospital) where my daughter had her surgeries. Everything has come full circle and seems to be destined.
