RQI
Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) replaces BLS (CPR for Healthcare Provider). RQI involves quarterly CPR training and skills practice of 30 minutes or less, designed to build muscle memory and promote high-quality CPR.
This new training is required for All employees listed below that are required to be BLS (Basic Life Support - CPR for the Healthcare Provider) certified per their job description or per their department manager.
Users are:
- Corning Hospital Staff
- Robert Packer Hospital Staff
- Troy Community Hospital staff
- Towanda Memorial Hospital staff
- Any GMG or TGL department where the department head has identified that their staff will participate.

Guthrie Corning Hopsital
The RQI carts rotate between 2 West Multipurpose room/Ambulatory Surgery Unit and ICU Consult room/ED Observation room. They relocate every 2 weeks.
