Charles Gibson Legacy Society
Before his death, Charles Gibson shared this: "I have shared my name to create the Charles Gibson Legacy Society so that people in Cortland will be encouraged to look ahead to the future and help preserve and grow this great health care institution. I chose to donate a paid-in-full life insurance policy to Cortland Memorial Foundation to ensure that the legacy lives on - helping to make sure that quality health care continues in Cortland County."
Your membership involves no dues, obligations, or solicitations, but it does allow us to thank you and recognize you for the plans you have made and hopefully, will inspire generosity in others.
Benefits of membership in the Charles Gibson Legacy Society also include annual luncheons, invitations to special events and seminars.
The Legacy Society
In addition to a generous gift from his estate, perhaps Charlie's greatest gift to the Foundation was in giving his name to The Charles Gibson Legacy Society. The Legacy Society honors and recognizes donors to the Foundation who have made a gift to the future of healthcare in Cortland through a bequest in a will or other planned gift.
