I have worked in the Guthrie system for 17 years, joining the Internal Medicine Residency in 2019. The opportunity to work with the Internal Medicine residents is truly an honor and blessing to me. The physicians in our program are the most dedicated, caring and compassionate people I have known. I count it as a real privilege to be a part of the education process for these physicians. In my free time I love traveling and spending time with my husband. I also enjoy music and playing instruments.

What drew me to Internal Medicine: I always appreciated how internists gather clues, learn to ask the right questions, and critically analyses each piece of information that makes up a challenging case. Finding the link between biology, physiology, and diverse anatomical functions is incredibly satisfying to my detective core. Equally important, the patient-physician relationship in the internal medicine helps me to remember that, behind every diagnosis, is a person with a unique story, worldview, belief system, and core values. This gives me a privilege to learn to provide patient management as a whole.
